About the Company
Vula is a technology startup that aims to make it easier for African SMEs and startup businesses to get the funding opportunities they need and deserve. Their goal is to create a digital infrastructure to close the $400B SME funding gap across Africa. And also, to bring in 10x more investment by giving founders, funders, and financiers simple digital tools to connect and grow together.

To create the deliverables, we conducted user interviews and looked into our target audiences including:
Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in need of funding (grants/loans)
Startups, funding agencies, accelerators, and investors, and
Users that are time-constrained, digitally literate and with varying levels of financial readiness or needs
With the help of analytics tools like Hotjar, UserBrain and Mixpanel, it was possible to do ample user tests and interviews throughout the whole creation of the project. Using Figma, we created wireframes and high-fidelity redesigns for landing, onboarding and funding inbox of the website.

Easier navigation process and understanding of the platform for users as they land on the website
The suggestion on the inclusion of testimonials and numbers work as a psychological trigger of proof, to help people make quicker decisions to sign up to the platform.
Potential increased signups and less burn rate through rewriting of website copy.
